Transport Options
The fastest way to reach the apartment is by car. Another quick option is shared taxi services like Uber or Bolt, which are available in Spain. If you prefer public transport, you can use the train connection from Malaga Airport and then take a few bus stops.
By Car
The fastest route to the apartment is by car. From the airport, take the A-7, which will lead you to the Wyndham hotel complex where our apartment is located.
Parking is free anywhere in the complex. In most cases, you can park right in front of the apartment, where there are about 10 parking spaces.
If you're not renting a car, another quick option to get to the apartment is Uber or Bolt. The standard price for one way is around 30 EUR.
By Train
The second option to get from Malaga Airport to the apartment is train C1, which has a station right in front of the arrival hall. The train takes 33 minutes, runs daily from about 6 AM to midnight, and ends in Fuengirola. The apartment is located on the outskirts of Fuengirola. From the train in Fuengirola, you can take bus line M-220 for 2 stops. It stops right at the Wyndham hotel complex where the apartment is located.
TipAn alternative to the bus is calling an Uber or Bolt from Fuengirola. This will cost you ±8 EUR to your door and you won't have to wait for the bus. Bus M-220 runs every 20 minutes. For us, this is the ideal option. The train to Fuengirola takes only slightly longer than by car, and the last short part is significantly faster than by bus. And compared to taking Bolt for the entire journey, you save about 20 EUR.
